Approach
DMB’s business practices are predicated on developing significant properties and on building lasting relationships with stakeholders, municipalities, landowners and communities. The company takes a long term view of projects and approaches each development with an eye toward innovation, integration and legacy.
DMB’s goal for each property is to create a unique plan that considers the history and character of the land, and the interests of those who are connected to it. With patience and respect, the company explores the distinctive attributes of the setting, the historical legacy of the region, and the needs of the surrounding community. Those elements then shape the planning vision, philosophy and design character of each project to ensure its authenticity and regional appropriateness. Employing this approach, no two DMB projects are alike.
Partnership
DMB focuses its business on creating lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with its partners, who share a common vision: “to create a positive outcome for the community and make each place better than when we started.”
DMB’s strength is based on the relationships and trust it builds with cities, communities, landowners, neighbors, residents, development associates and financial institutions. We value integrity, excellence and civic involvement — qualities that bring our teams together and continue to strengthen our ability to create innovative, nurturing communities.
Experience
DMB has established a successful track record of working with many municipalities in the planning and implementation of mixed-use communities, including Coconino County, Ariz. for Forest Highlands, North Lake Tahoe, Calif., for Lahontan; San Diego for Santaluz; Tempe, Ariz. for Centerpoint on Mill; Buckeye, Ariz. for Verrado; Surprise, Ariz. for Marley Park; and the City of Scottsdale for DC Ranch and One Scottsdale.
